ILR application- for more than 180 days out of country

Post by kumar2a1 » Tue Sep 16, 2014 2:57 pm

Hi,

I came to UK in dec 2009 on Tier1(GENERAL), but didnt get work for almost 8 moths. First contract I got was in Denmark from aug 2010 to april 2011 on Danish payroll. but I was travelling quite often to UK during my tenure in Denmark.
Also from may 2011 I am permanently employed in UK with renowned utility company. So I have only 3 P60s with me.

I heared that 180 days rule is applicable in every 5 consecutive year from the date of aplication backwords. is this correct?

Considering that, I am planning to apply for ILR in mid of Dec 2014, so out of country days would be
15th dec 2009- 14th dec 2010- 113 days approx
15th dec 2010- 14th dec 2011- 130 approx

can someone help me out, if this is fine for ILR application, or do I need to apply for another extension?

I am on Tier1 general and planning to apply ILR in dec 2014.
I was working in Denmark for 8 months( 2010-2011), but never lived there at stretch even for 90 days,i was travelling to UK almost after every 2 weeks. so if I apply in mid of dec 2014 my absence from UK is less than 180 days in each application year.
Can someone help me please if this is fine as per rules to apply anf get ILR...
