Post by simbu » Mon Sep 15, 2014 9:05 pm

Hi,

If I have ILR and I stay in N. Ireland, after 12 months will I be eligible to apply british passport? Or is it a must that I have to be in england?

thanks

You can be resident anywhere in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. So long as you are resident in Northern Ireland and not in the Republic of Ireland, it counts.
