Spouse Visa

My wife is currently on a spouse visa which is valid until 24th of January 2015. She will have to apply for extension/renewal of visa. What is the earliest that she can apply for the visa? We intend to use the premium service. I ask because we are planning to go to India for a family visit on 31st January for 25 days.

Within 28 days of the visa expiring. I would suggest you do it as early as possible to get the BRP in time to travel.
