Approved test providers as of 1st August 2014saf786 wrote:Hey quick question
We are thinking to reapply by April .. My husband had a toeic English test.. But heard they don't accept that now ... What test does he need now to apply for spouse visa ?
Yes that's true I am also registering my baby in UK as his father is British we don't need to show 22400£ cz baby will also become British whn we fill the form of financial requirement it clearly say in above lines dt if baby is British he's exempt of this financial requirement[/quote]Tabz5 wrote:Is your husband british? If so I'm assuming he was British before the child's birth? Apply for child's right of abode. It's an automatic right for the child as he is british by decent. I applied for my daughter and it came in 8 days last month plus you will only need to show £18600 as income not £22400humawakas2014 wrote: an anyone tell rules about money in cash savings as fixed deposits? The eco rejected my visa and didnt consider the fixed deposit funds. We need these funds to meet income criteria. My husband has fixed deposits since 2012 in faysal bank, we can withdraw that money anytime by breaking the tdr with little penalty but bank can not give any letter stating what would be the penalty if we withdraw money. Can anyone guide me please. I was expecting when we applied in jan 2014, now my baby is born, our income criteria is 22400 pounds now, we have to use both category A and D.
Pm me for more info if needed

You can add in your last years tax returns if they are above £18600 net and then your last 12 months bank statements if they are also on target or above £18600 net I think... I personally applied tax year to tax year but from what I know previous tax year papers if they are matching or above required net and then last 12 months bank statements which should also be on target to reach required net however I am not 100% suresaf786 wrote:THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY ALIL2014

Most initial checks are done at visa application centres and then checked by Eco in Islamabad with final decision with them, hence why you have visa processing times for each application centre. Any documents that need to be verified will lead to longer processing time.
Biometrics which are done at application centre are sent to UK electronically and checked against relevant databases to check for any previous history etc.

Your last financial year was April 2013 to April 2014. Was your income declared £18600 or more? If so...saf786 wrote:So if I submitted my new application with statements from April 2013 up to current, would they only look at the financial year which would be April 2013 to April 2014 ? And not look at the rest ?
If so then I don't think the statements from April to April add up to 18600 becuz I was away 3 months
A quick search on google will direct you to a number of UKBA government articles regarding visa processing in Pakistan. Every settlement visa in Pakistan whether refused or granted will be processed in Islamabad and non-settlement visa are processed in Abu Dhabi.AMRKHN wrote:Thanks for replying. Add in bank statements from April 2013 to September 2014 (if applying this month etc) as for the statements of April 2014 to current will reflect on your next tax year so surely you are on track to earn £18600 or more net too for the next financial year I assume...
Oh so your last tax returns don't meet the requirements of £18600 correct?saf786 wrote:Thank uhumawakas2014 wrote:Your last financial year was April 2013 to April 2014. April 2013 to April 2014 .. No i didn't meet the requirement because of a holiday I took .. But from April 2014 up until now I have been meeting the requirements .. Does that help ? Or is it best to complete this financial year ?
I went with with my wife when she applied in June 2014 (still awaiting decision) and they took her biometrics when she applied. It's the last stage at the mirpur office they take your fingerprints and photo and then after that your case has been submitted.arslan123 wrote:Can Someone please tell me when and how do they take biométrics is it when u go to submit your application etc or do they call you later , how does it work?? Just as I thought .. thank u so much for explainingsaf786 wrote:Oh so your last tax returns don't meet the requirements of £18600 correct?
You will have to wait then. Do the full year of April 2014 to April 2015 and once your self assessment etc is filed add in bank statements of April 2014 - April 2015 matching up with the declared income and your sorted
And what other things do they do at the time os the appointment my husband will be submitting his case next friday inn sha Allah just want to know why procedures they takehumawakas2014 wrote:I went with with my wife when she applied in June 2014 (still awaiting decision) and they took her biometrics when she applied. It's a straight forward procedure biometrics is only the main thing... You go to the first counter.. They will check everything then you get a token and off you go to the second counter where you are asked contact details etc and 200rupees for SMS service. This is the time where you are also given your receipt with GWF no... Then after this it is biometrics. If it is an early appointment whole procedure takes around 15-20 minutes if there are no issuesarslan123 wrote:And what other things do they do at the time os the appointment my husband will be submitting his case next friday inn sha Allah just want to know why procedures they takehumawakas2014 wrote:I went with with my wife when she applied in June 2014 (still awaiting decision) and they took her biometrics when she applied. At the time of her birth my husband had ILR. Hopefully she"ll b around 3 months old when her father gets the passport. Wont it be an issue that my husband didnt hold british citizenship at the time of her birth? :s

You don't need to register the birth it is optional. I didn't register my daughters I applied for right of abode directly.
