Also as there are 3 originals of th nikkah do thy only require one?
They will ask for copy of ID card.

As for nikah nama you and your husband should have your own copy of the nikanamah and one is kept by the person who registers the nikah. Make sure it's been stamped by Union council if you live in mainland Pakistan, if from azad kashmir it will need to be stamped by the Mufti.

So as long as nikanamah is stamped and you have english translation attested then it doesn't matter which original you submitt as they will contain exactly the same details

Only way of getting update on visa application is via email or over the telephone, you will need the GWF number which should be on the receipt or can be found on the online visa4uk site.

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration international enquiry
service.

We have received a response from the decision making centre, following your
request for information on the status of your visa application which states
as follows: "This application has been Under process with on-going
enquiries/checks". Please let us know if you were contacted so that we
close the case.
They may have emailed you requesting additional information, check your email/spam and ask your wife to check too.
To me it seems like they are waiting for a response from your side.
Either way let them know you havent received anything and are waiting for a decision from THEM.
They are really dragging this.

I applied for UK Spouse Settlement VISA along with my two sons with Category D only on 06-11-2013.
As per HO calculation I have to show my cash saving of GBP 78,000/- in bank for a continuous period of SIX months.
I provided GBP 58,000/- in bank and difference from other sources like property, jewellery, car etc.
But they accept only GBP 58,000/- in bank as a cash savings and did not take other sources and finally refused our applications.
I am planning to apply again in February-2015 on Category D with their requirement of GBP 78,000/- in my bank as cash savings. I have arranged these savings through following sources.
1- Sale of Land through Power of Attorney in April-2013.
2- Cash amount transferred from my real Brother as a GIFT in my account.
3- Cash amount transferred from my Brother-in-law as a GIFT in my account.
Question 1: I want to know what type of evidences to show for above stated sources.
Question 2: Tenancy agreement provided in my previous application for the house, can I provide tenancy agreement for the same house in my next application.

Bank statements both business and personal and I had all money going into my business and i have £500 weekly transferred into my personal account. Declared 24k profit and 44k gross. I submitted my hmrc letter which has my UTR number, my self assessment and also letters from accountant. The hmrc is the main thing as my tax bill is £4500. Got a feeling they will ask for my sa302 form so let's see how it goes.

I run a clothing business and all my payments are made into my bank as I mainly deal online therefore my bank statements show customer deposits too etc

They do accept gift aslong as you prove it's a gift and not a loan. For example parents gifted you £64000 but you have to prove this is not just a interest free loan from parents.

Sorry, but please do not say things which you may lack information yourself on.

Savings are accepted as long as the amount you are relying on has been kept in your account for 6 months. Even if you drop £0.01 or transfer the amount into another account, the clock will be reset and you will have to wait another 6 months.

From annex 1.7fm guide -
7.4. Cash savings – further guidance

"7.4.1. Savings must be held in cash in a personal bank/savings account in the name of the applicant, their partner or the couple jointly. The savings can be from any legal source, including a gift from a family member or other third party, provided the source of the cash savings is declared. The applicant and/or their partner must confirm that the money, which cannot be borrowed, is under their control and evidence that it has been held in their bank account for at least the 6 months prior to the date of application."

A gift can be made by anyone including family members. Make sure you meet the right amount, and that it's in your account for at least 6 months, possibly more to show it's genuine and has not been used just for the Visa.

Please also remember you will need to rely on this method *If you haven't found a job that pays £18,600.00" after 2.5 years to extend your visa, and again after another 2.5 years for ILR. The money might be less after 2.5 years as the money you are relying on now is just for entry clearance.

Please please please read up on the guidance notes in Annex 1.7 fm. They will help you guys.
