Hello All,
I am planning to apply for BC next week via NCS. I got ILR over two years ago. I am an IT Consultant and have a Ltd Company.
I currently take a salary of 640.00 as well as Dividend each month. I don't pay PAYE tax and National Insurance because annual salary is within the Personal Tax Allowance -
Please Correct me if am wrong. I pay company tax each year and am up to date with it.
My questions are:
Question 1 . Will not paying PAYE tax and NI be an issue?
Question 2. Am I Self employed or Director?
Question 3. Do I need a
Self Assessment Statement of Account? Page 8 of
Applicants Guide AN document states:
"3.1 – 3.5. If you do not pay income tax through PAYE you must demonstrate that you have discharged your obligations towards the H.M. Revenue & Customs, by attaching a Self Assessment Statement of Account (see page 16)."
