Delayed Tier 2 General Visa

Hi,

I applied for Tier 2 General Visa on 27th Aug 2014 in Mumbai (Bandra) VFS office, and today is 30th Sept 2014. I have given all necessary documents, still visa is not yet arrived. Its all most more than a month now. Wanted to know what would be the reason behind this delay.

I have gone to UK so many times earlier, but never faced such delayed. Very anxious moment to wait. Can some one help me on this issue.
