English language requirement

Hi all,
I have some queries about English language requirement letter.

1.Is the English language requirement letter needs to be from std Collage or from the University?

2.I belongs to Bangalore university last batch, afterwards its changed to VTU(Visvesvaraya Technology university)
now bangalore university no more exits.
please help me where to get my letter ?

From university. But donot take it fot granted, becasue they coulks still reject U based on wordings on the letter.

If I were U I will apply for IELTS rather than taking the chance.

Do you think only way is IELTS.

I did not say it is the only way. But I have seen people got rejected using Letter from Univerities. Some are accepted. So it is up to U if you want to take the chance

Hi,
Evidence required for Bachelor's degree taught in English are:

The original certificate showing:
the date of the award;title of the award;name of awarding institution;and you name.

AND

The original letter from the awarding institution that you were taught in English.
This letter must show:
the applicant's name;the qualification obtained;the date of the award of the degree and that the degree was taught in English Language.

Please,verify from NARIC that your institution's degree certificate is equivalent to UK degree and that it is on their database that the institution's teaching language is English.

If you meet this conditions and you letters clearly stated this, I don't think that there will be any problems.You can also verify these requirements from the HSMP guidance notes.Best of Luck.

thank you, In my degree certificate..Awarding institute is Bangalore University. and also std collage name not mentioned in degree certificate
now the bangalore university no more exists. changed to VTU(Visvesvaraya Technology university)

thats why i took letter from my std college,in the letter they didn't not mentioned the bangalore university name

I got NARIC letter of confirmation of my degree and letter from std collage.

Is it works or not please help me friends.

Recommend you to take IELTS to be on the safer grounds.

I am from Bangalore University last batch only. Who said the Bangalore University no more exists. Only the technical courses has been taken away by VTU. Still there are some courses run by BU. If you need some more information PM me.

by the way which college u studied your bachelors.

and in that last comment its mention that most of the letter issued by universities is rejected, Is it true?

and Is the BU will issue the letter in their letter head ?
