What is Tier2 ICT Established Visa Category

Hi ,

I came to UK in March 2011 under Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff category and have extended my visa until now. Have applied for an extension by 22nd of September 2014 for another year .

By March 2016 , i am completing 5 years.

I know that my maximum length of stay in UK is 5 years now under this category .

I would like to know below information.

1. Who comes under Tier 2 ICT established staff category ?
2. If we stay in UK for 3 years under ICT Long Term staff category - are we considered as Established staff?
3. I am sure , I cannot switch to Tier 2 General due to new rules from 3rd Sep 2014 - Can some one please confirm this?

no, there is no time limit on your stay as a T2 ICT migrant, but for each extension you will need a new CoS

I would like to know below information.

those who applied for entry clearance in the period 6 April 2010 - 5 April 2011

2. If we stay in UK for 3 years under ICT Long Term staff category - are we considered as Established staff?

you are allowed to switch to T2G but if you do you can only get leave until 2017 (6 year cap)
