Employer Letter to Support ILR application

I am applying for ILR on 24th Nov 2014 . I am on TIER 2 ICT visa so will require employer's letter. When can I ask my employer to issue the letter ? If I get letter by Oct 10, will it be consider by UKBA ?

in my case i took letter with in one month from the date of appointment. i.e., after 14th Oct in your case if you are going on 24th Nov.

but not sure date will matter or not in case of company letter.

In my company while i requested for the ILR letter they told me that it should be no later than 15 days from the date of PEO appointment.
