Any exceptions for long residence??

Post by greenfluff » Wed Oct 08, 2014 2:59 pm

I am planning to apply for ILR based on long residence in 2015 but I have left the UK for more than 18 months in total during this period.

I started studying in the UK when I was 14, completed university and got a tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK since 2013. Based on the grounds that I wasn't financially independent during my student life and going home during school holidays were completely based on my parents' financial situation, will it still be possible to make a case to qualify for long residence to apply for ILR?

Thanks a lot!
