Unless u request them they not gone send u till the Decision made on ur application,then they send u the document and decision in two separate 2nd class envelop unless u gave them record delivery envelop to use for sending u the document.. If ur in hurry go to theyr website and fill the request form

In average it takes appx 60-70 working days or, in terms of normal calendar, 3 -3.5 months. I applied on 11 August, and hopefully will get some news in late November - early December... Nothing much to do - just wait.

Hi,noting yet,like everyone else just waiting and counting days n weeks,we gone see the approval rain for august in the end of november,especially start of december.but remember few unlucky of us gone get sacrifice by HO to prove HO 6 months waiting theory even with very straightforward cases,but HO always pick few case and put behind to fill the %5 and to keep ppl expectation low on timing by seeing the 6 months waiting monster there and if theyre case get delay for example due to the HO help to stop the sewerage flood..lol...(like passport office) they complain not be looked at until 6 months pass or even keeping quiet bcz of knowing of 6 months monster waiting..thats y HO even by purpose keep few cases behind to keep this monster of wait alive....

Just to mention,last year when I applied for my biometric card ( indefinite leave to remain ) I sent my application myself and I had my card in about 6weeks and I hope this comes through quickly as well.

hi.first of all glad to see one of my brother or sister here...about 6 to 7 weeks i have to say,it was possible in majority of the cases till september 2013 but after that october rush hit the ukvi and carried on till april, it was the time to get a bit of relaxing in ukvi,but though luck for us this time passport backlog hit the home office and as all of us aware,ukvi transfered 100 of its own staff to passport offices to help them and solve the passport backlog asap and leaving us and our application behind behind behind the line and just now and then very few lucky persons got approval during backlog,the passport backlog seem solved and done and dusted and the ukvi staff back to theyr place of work and now have to deal with our applications backlog which isnt small number,then the chance of getting approval during 6 to 7 weeks is very unlikely,but we seen few luckies from good ppl of pakistan and india got theyre approval in 4 weeks during this very very busy time..and remember usually us persian and middle eastern get our approval much later than others bcz of some unknown reason,usually but not deffinetly ...from heart i hope u get urs asap during 6-7 weeks.. my application is about to enter the 9th weeks anyway and yet didnt even recieved the simple email for acknowlegement and i had to call them and ask for it to send me the letter...I wish u and everyone here or elsewhere whos waiting the best of luck..may the good karma and ur higher power with whatever name u call him/her be on ur side...DOROUD...

no doubt we need to have patience and even be prepare for waiting more than 6 months...i try not to think about it at all,but time to time it hunt u down and make u think about it...lol..i wish everyone the best of luck...

hello everyone,

Am new to this site but i would like to share my experience if anyone can be a bit of help!

i apply for nationalization back in 2011 but i was refused because of my conviction as i was given a community service which fall on the ground of (non-custodian offence) and the letter send to me say i should re-apply by 28/July/2014 during that time it was 5 years "Rehabilitation act 1974" but law change in 2013. i manage to wait till 5 years for my conviction to become spent, now i have applied for nationalization again through NCS on the 07/08/2014, i received acknowledgement dated 15/08/2014.

Can anyone help me what will be the decision as i am really scare?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

That's fantastic news. Thanks Ozair for keeping us posted. Which NCS Centre did you apply? Can I ask you what is the content of the approval letter? Does it come in a second class post or first class post?

There are a few applications from end of July who have received approvals. I hope August applications start getting approvals soon.
