EEA3 in 27 days

Post by Viktoria27 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 4:05 pm

Hi everyone,

Just received My Permanent Residence after 2 previous refusals!!! It took 27 days from the day we posted it to the day I received it!

Can I please tell everyone-Never give up because it looks like it depends on which caseworker deals with your case as the previous reasons for refusal were ignored this time!

Big thanks to this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! Yes it depends on caseworker, the case and how it has been presented. Some caseworker are lazy while some are efficient and maybe environment friendly who donot like much paper in drawers and quickly process applications.

Thank you!
Ecogle 1st refusal insufficient bank transactions and lack of CSI for period being self-sufficient. 2nd application we provided EHIC from outside the Uk which was just issued at that time but for only 2mths not like here for 5years and there was only expiry date on it. Refusal access to public funds (7pounds a week Tax credits). 3rd application same documents but as Im now working we added 2 months payslips.

I just applied for working tax credit recently too. I hope it's not going to be a problem with my civil partner's EEA2

Same here. I don't know how to get evidence about this though.

Has anyone asked the Home Office?

Yes we had £7/week in tax credits while I was exercising Treaty rights as self-sufficient. If your Eea family member is working then its fine to receive public funds but not when self sufficient . We just tried our luck and and instead of appealing we sent the same bank statements along with ehic from my home country plus payslips from my current job (just 2mnths) and suprisingly received PR 27days later. We must be v lucky.

Yes it was on bank statements . We had to provide them to show we had enough funds .
