1. Yes

2. There are no formal restrictions - but she'll need to be present when she applies (obviously) and clearly living with you.

No. Not required until she applies for ILR
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Re:Ready to apply for naturalization

Post by Naveed583 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:57 pm

Hi there
I came in to UK in 2009 as a British citizen spouse got my ILR Card in 2014 (at this stage i just provide E sol Entry level 3 certification) back in 2014 it was required either Life in the uk or Esol entry level 3 So went for easy option i was granted ILR bios metric card .
Right now after trying really hard finally manage to pass life in the uk test to apply for naturalization
at this stage do i need to clear B1 test. or need to do another English language qualification ?
would appreciate if any experts can advice
Regards

ESOL is no longer accepted for citizenship as far as I understand.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
