This is a question on behalf of someone else:

Are you only able to the visa fees online or can you pay using any other method? I was under the impression that you can only pay online and then you book an appointment to submit all the papers

Is that right?

Thanks

Can someone please tell me that is it ok to use payslips in a printed-from-portal format? As the company I work for does not issue the 'stationary payroll payslip' - they just give out a printout of the payslips - is it ok to submit these?

I hope my question makes sense :)

we gave few stationary payroll slips and few printed ones and they were not signed or stamped. i have not heard back on my case yet...i believe as long as it reflects all the details like NI , employee ref no similar to original ones then its fine cz in our case my sponsor worked in a bank and they stopped issuing stationary payroll slips. Still if you want to be on the safest side , have them signed or stamped from your employer if they do !! same we did with the bank statements the latest were printed ones and bank didnt agree to stamp or signed as per their policy weird lol as they said it can be checked anywhere as its legitimate ones.
Thank you for your reply Fawad iftikhar, alil2014, fullah and umerali :D :D :D

There probably is no other country in the entire world with slower visa processing than Pakistan. Look at the Indian processing times and you will see the big difference, all cases dealt within 60 days. They can't use the excuse that a lot of applicants were on hold because across the border in India they had just as many if not more on hold but look at the difference in visa processing times. Instutionalised beloved.

:D :D :D :D thanks all of you, hope all you get your visa asap and reunite with partner. Lahore visa center is headache, you will never get call from them to collect passport.my wife had e mail on 10th October application has been processed and return back to visa section.
they called her three time on Monday three time on Tuesday but when ever she answered call next other side two guys talking to each other and cant be bother to answering her back.sound like they are sitting in call center and computer dialing number for them and they not aware of it or they are incompetent. so best is, go to visa section after two days of e mail confirming application been returned back to via section to collect documents. Number was 04236299215
My wife did toeic ets a1,i know lot of people had interview in past but they grant her visa with out interview.Collection of passport and TB certificate same day saved time and effort.

Avoid Lahore Garry`s center
May the blessings of Allah fill your life with happiness and open all the doors of success now and always.

guys,
look at the visa processing in September from Pakistan it is ridiculous. it looks like they are just ignoring applications. just 12% in 120 days what a joke. what these guys are doing they took £885. what they are doing with this money. I cant understand why straight forward application take that long.

I think we all need to complain against this to U.K home office. they are wasting people time. how annoying it would be when people get rejections after 9 Months. very very annoying.

there is no point asking home office status of your application. its better to send complaint emails on the above email address.

I would say everyone should do this because September stats shows that they are not dealing Pakistani applications fairly. application in Dubai get processed in 3 days.

Thanks

Hey guys, my wife submitted her application on 22/05/2014 at Lahore vac. I have emailed ukvi several times and always recieved same reply " application is waiting to be assessed by eco". Its been 5 months and my application is still in a queue. Its really disappointing and the waits just driving me crazy.
Is there anyone else who submitted their application around that time?? and what is your current update on your application?

The tracking system is useless. They give different replies. Its just ridiculous. Tbh I dont let the tracking system give me false hope because I just feel as if they send the same message to everyone. Why not get in touch with your mp?
Stay positive inshallah hope you will hear soon.

As long as you have stated the refusal accurately on the online application form i.e. date of refusal and reason for refusal, you will be fine.
