Help! Can I invest on property as my business premise?

Help! Can I invest on property as my business premise?

Dear friends, I'm so confused about how investment on property will work for Tier 1 E visa. Really need your help!

I intend to set up a beauty salon business in UK and I want to buy a property used as my business premise.

Can I buy a residential property and convert it to a beauty salon? Does it count as the investment? No one will live inside of course, only for business use.

Or only commercial property is allowed to buy?

Can I buy the property through mortgage?

Should I buy it in my company name?
