Maitenance funds for a Tier 2 General Dependant Visa

Post by nattynat » Sat Oct 18, 2014 1:27 pm

I'm applying to my Tier 2 Dependent Visa from inside the UK and later than my wife which already has hers. The general rule is that it is required to provide evidence of maintenance funds is to have £640 in a bank account for at least 3 months before apply. However, I would like to apply as soon as possible to the visa but I don't have that money in my account but my wife has had it in hers for more than 3 months. Could be possible to present my wife bank accounts as my visa will depend on her?

I have the same question: is it
a) £630 for 90 days or
b) £945+£630

This is not very clear, i have been in the Uk for more than 2 years now. we have been maintaining £1000 in my wife's bank account for 3 months now.
