work permit Visa stamping Duration

HI ,

I had applied to chennai UK Workpermit Visa yesterdy . Is any one here aware of how long would it take for visa stamping .

Is heard of some screeing introduced lately and it takes more time . Is this process for every one or selective applications only will have screening .

Can some one tell me exactly how many days it would take for me for getting my Visa stampped .

hi even here in UK there are severe delays. i have applied mine 25 days ago and we still have no answer from homeoffice. they posted a ciruclar dated 23/7/07 in website www.workingintheuk.gov.uk that there is a wait.. hope this helps

I got my work permit . but waiting for My visa stamping .. so was asking how long will it take for ECO to stamp my passport....
