Issue with BRP Card redilvery

Post by abhishek7749 » Mon Oct 27, 2014 3:05 pm

Hi All,

I have received the approval letter for the Tier 1 visa extension. However, the Dx courier failed to deliver the BRP card. Some one present at home( when Dx attempted delivery) was misunderstood by the ccourier as stating that I do not live at that address. Now, the Dx wants the Home office to authorize the redilevry. I have written to BRPDelivery email Id explaining the situation and requesting them to authorize Dx courier to redeliver. I haven't received any response from Home Office yet.

Has anybody faced a similar situation? Any idea on the timeline ? I have to urgently travel abroad for business but cannot do so until I receive the BRP card.
Any pointers to epedite the redilevry would be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
A

i find Home Office annoying who won't allow redelivery to another address or collection from DX center.
did you call DX quoting tracking number and confirming your details? were you not able to negotiate redelivery with DX?
Apart from email try calling Home Office as well

I did call up Dx but they will not take any action without Home Office authorizing them to redilever.
I called up Home office but they said that such issues will only be dealt with through the BRPDelivery email system.

Is their any other way I should approach them.

abhishek7749, were u not at home ?
Last time I got it the delivery address changed to my office address and got the delivery at my office. Not sure how it is now, last time, Dx sent a text message intimating about the delivery 2 days advance with an option to delivery to alternate address.

@tier1-immigrant
I got my BRP last week, and day earlier i missed it when DX left card. I called them arranged Redelivery or in person collection which they refused by them as executive said, sender has placed rule to be delivered to specified address only.
I had to take half day next after arranging redelivery to same address.
