Immigration Stamps

Post by confused90 » Sun Oct 26, 2014 10:39 pm

Hello All,

Just had a small query about the immigration stamps on the passport. As we all know, UK immigration doesn't stamp our passports on our exit. The country I frequently visit for work doesn't stamp my passport on entry (I usually use the e-gate).

Hence, how am I or HO supposed to calculate the days I was absent from the UK? I get the exit stamp from 1 country, and get the entry stamp at UK immigration.

Appreciate the feedback :)

With great difficulty. Travel tickets and boarding cards?

And what would the consequence be if I 'misplace' some tickets and boarding passes?

250 views and 1 reply? None of the others are facing this issue?

I am facing the same problem. My passports are with HO and soon I have to apply for ILR
I am thinking of getting in touch with airlines to get my travel record.

Without the exit stamp, I could've been out for a month.. but it wouldn't show up on my passport :?
