EXEMPT? What exactly was this visa exempt from? Did you work for an employer that was not your sponsoring employer?Leaver wrote:So this is a very unique situation i would imagine, still i hope some of you here had experience.
1. i had a tier 2 visa for 3 years, but after 1.5 years my epmployment with this sponsor terminated.
2. The employer didnt curtail my visa so it went on for full 3 years, Home Office did not curtail it either.
3. During the second 1.5y i held other emoployment in the UK under the EXEMPT visa.
4. THEN i went on a second Tier two visa, starting before 3 years expired from point 1 above. I am on this second Tier 2 for 2 years now, thus having 5 years of continuous Tier 2 visa stamps.
My questions is: will the employment on the exempt visa create issues?
A home office officer said it is not a problem. My common sense says it might be a problem...and its a 1200£ question i guess.
Oh duh - I am an idiot! We get a lot of people on here thinking they are 'exempt' from all kinds of crazy rules...Leaver wrote:So this is a very unique situation i would imagine, still i hope some of you here had experience.
