Passport expiring but Biometric Tier 1 valid 1st march 2016

Dear Friends

Could you please suggest regarding my query?

My Passport is expiring in June 2015 while my Tier 1 (General Visa) i.e biometric residence permit valid till 1st march 2016.

I am going on holiday to india in end nov 2014 (3 weeks holiday) can i reissue my passport in india (tatkal) which we get in 3-5 working days

My Biometric residence permit will be valid with new passport and i will be carrying my old passport as well while coming back to UK(london) in mid dec 2014

I know we can apply for passport here in london but as i am going to india and i can apply for Tatkal passport which comes in 5 working days. so it will be good as i will be there for 2.5 to 3 weeks atleast

Please advise at earliest

You can renew your passport in your country its not a problem.
When you return back to UK make sure keep previous and current passport togather.

Also, what is the UK Biometric updation details email and contact number? so that i can email them/contact them as soon as i receive the new passport.

Hope they wont create a problem while entering again in UK once i travel with both my old and new passport
