I don't believe UKVI are processing in date order as my wife who applied in September has recieved a message from UKVI that the visa is with an ECO and in progress but then there are others who have applied earlier in the year who have not heard anything.

Yep it shouldn't take that long. I can remember watching a panorama programme on BBC about the UKBA can't remember if it was earlier in the year or late last year. They showed that it only took average 10 minutes for ECO to view a file and make a decision.

Thats what i think they are not processing the applications in date order,as most of the forum user suggesting. My wife applied in September and her status update states"in progress, further enquires are conducted".
