we now get only acknowledgment from ITR.
So is this the only form that we need to submit as ITR. has anyone got hsmp approval with providing acknowledgment form?
Could you please tell me which doc did you submit for latest ITR?

This is an urgent query can someone please reply.

Thanks!!

Hi niruv,
I did get the approval submitting ITR acknowledgement, But in addition i had submitted Form16(this we get back in original, no longer deposited with IT), sal slips and bank statements. i had also mentioned this in the cover letter.

There are other threads though with finer details about the ITR issue if you are interested in details.

Thanks,
Aman

Hi Niruv,

Was the stamp on ITR form in hindi. If so, did you get it translated. I am planning not to submit the ITR and only form-16.

Form-16 is not acceptable

Post by superlondonguy123 » Tue Aug 28, 2007 7:57 pm

Form-16 is NOT acceptable by Home Office.
They will accept ONLY the SARAL(or equivalent).

Refer to the Caseworker Manual:
--------------------------------------
Self-certified tax documents, which are completed by the individual (eg Form 16 in India or the SA100 form in the UK) are not acceptable.

http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/docume ... kguidance/
Refer to Previous Earnings Section.
