Hi

A new member is here with a good news!

I applied on 23 September by post and today (06/11/2014)
I received the approval letter and my documents back. Now I will wait for the invitation to the ceremony.

Considering my previous encounters with the Home Office and the fact that it took them three years to grant me a leave to remain, this approval comes very unexpected and total shock.

I wish everyone waiting to hear the good news as soon as possible.

@akhurshid...I think it may be worth updating the september spreadsheet just to give us who have'nt received approvals yet a wall to see through

Its amazing those of us who applied at the beginning of september have not received approvals yet..lol...I can feel your anxiety..just like mine buildign up .

I just have a strong feelign that the approvals will come thorugh just earlier than expected. TBH everyday i get home i sieve through my mails searching for any letter that looks like an approval letter (how it looks like i do not know...) ...but its just something to do to calm the nerves.

Very quick to take your hard earned 906pounds but not quick to give approvals...

same routine I always check this forum regualrly for some update and hopefully I will see something that will make me smile soon....consoling myself... ...I need a rum ...lol

It seems that the passport backlog was indeed the reason why applications submitted earlier in the summer took so long to process... Hopefully HO is now back to normal.

10 out of 49 people have got their approval. When I was checked for the month August, not all people have got their approvals and so not sure if UKBA is taking few from each month and issuing approvals.

Anyway, keeping the hopes high that the approval should arrive in less than 2 weeks.

I was using maximus and yourself as a yardstick to judge when I will receive my approval ...ouch this hurts lol...congrats mate and good work on the spreadsheet...This means that mine is just around the corner infact less than the 2-3days time I gave myself earlier today lol...
If you happen to update the spreadsheet anytime soon, can you please add the following updates to my row please:

I think HO is working most of applications in order now. I have however noticed that letter takes between 2 to 15 days to arrive so I am sure yours must be with royal mail.
I have updated the sheet but I'll post it when there are more updates.
