FLR(M) extension and IELTS expiry date

Post by malfayez » Thu Jul 17, 2014 7:05 pm

Dear All

My wife got 30 months for FLR(M) which is due for extension shortly. I was wondering if we will be able to use the same IELTS certificate (now expired) for the extension of FLR(M).

Any advice/experience

Many thanks

Malyfayez,

Did you get your extension resolved with a expired IELTS certificate?

Annex FM 1.21 wrote:2.5 Applicants who already have a test certificate or result

A partner or parent applying for leave to enter or remain is not required to provide evidence of meeting the English language requirement if they have done so as part of a successful previous application as a partner or parent. Paragraph 32D of Appendix FM-SE provides for when this earlier test certificate or result can and cannot be used.
