hi der,
your spouse needs to fill up vaf1 form, your passport photocopies, your salary slips, job letter, tenancy agreement and utility bill, from your spouse's side his/her passport and i think 2 photos. Thats all I submitted along with the visa fees from mumbai.

What about if you apply for your wife along with your EC application, do you need to pay her fee too? or will it be covered by your fee?

If you are an in country applicant and applying for FLR then you need to pay for a single applicant only.

In case you are applying for EC you will have to pay fee for all the applicants separately.

Hi Shaik,
It can be a problem. There were a couple of cases where EC was rejected for a couple of reasons, one of them being not taking spouse thereby doubts about migrating.
But there have been cases where people have acquired EC first for themselves, and then later for their spouse.

Also some have mentioned strong reasons for doing so.

All n all it is risk, but people have been on both sides +ve and -ve. You might want to use "search" option for this.

Please refer for EC details:
