Fayzal, you will defo get your 2nd ack this week (this is the timeline).. however, if you send them an email they will reply within 20 mins (give them your reference number) and tell you precisely where it is at..

Ps if you ask them, please ask them on when the approvals (after 2nd stage) supposedly being issued? (they issue them in batches, so you will have an idea what period you might be included in after the 2nd ack)

Hi everyone I've been browsing this forum for a while but just now decided to sign up. I applied for my citizenship in April and got my approval at the end of September (almost 6mths), paid the 950euro 2 days later but haven't received my ceremony date yet. Anyone else waiting?

cncn maybe worth putting your timeline tracker and type of application and visa so we can help you better. Im surprised that you got the approval in Sep as no adult application approvals happened in sep 2014

my original stamp was received as an eu spouse. i'm pretty sure the police check was routine (i'm actually up north) and this check was long before my i received my approval letter.

ah right in NI.

the ceremony in nov 24th is for ppl who applied long, long time ago (before april) and couldnt make it to sep ceremony.

what to do:

send to: citizenshipinfo@justice.ie

1- your reference number
2- ask: what is the status of your invitation and if you are not included in this one, when the next ceremony is likely to commence

they answer within 20 mins - please update us what they say to you

Which email address should I email ? Will it be better if i wait for a couple of days or two? i mean sending them email regarding this will not upset them as i may sound very impatient. Any view?

not at all fayzal, unless of course you are going to moan about it to them..

the email is citizenshipinfo@justice.ie and they guys who answer are actually nice employees!

to avoid annoying them, ask preceisly and for as much information as possible:
1- your status
2- when next ceremony coming (the one after nov 24)

they didn't give me a specific day, they just said '...into the new year' so if i was to make an educated guess based on previous ceremonies i'd say between january/february

Kal.. thats a standard one.. you need to reply to them with: what does that mean? when approval batches likely to come and whether possible for the ceremony to be in 2014 (to get a feel if you likely getting it this year)

the very important question you need to ask is: when the next approval batches is coming, you do not need precise date but range/period so you have an idea why and when you are included

share us your timeline so we better help you!

Kal, as you applied in may, you deserve to know by now when next approvals are (not just telling you that you are in advance stage) as this protects you next time you contact them and say approval is now, and havent received mine yet etc etc.. otherwise you will be kept waiting forever due to drink driving.. be on their case and keep insisting on knowing when approval batch is coming (at least date range)

you better phone call them rather than emailing them.. and also if possible ask about next ceremony so they know you are going to be on their case by these dates..

once called them wondering why i didnt receive the ack letter.. the next day i received it (was dated on the day i called) so i knew its about reminding them really!

Hi All,
Want to share the info with you guys, a friend of mine got his approval yesterday.
He applied in mid/late April based on Stamp4.

I applied 6 weeks later (beginning of June), still queuing :)

good luck to everyone.
