Switching Employers on Tier -2 General

Hi,

I currently hold a Tier 2 General visa for an employer in the UK and am wanting to switch to a new employer. I have completed by post grad from a UK institution before i started working for my current employer. My question is , does my new employer need to conduct a Resident Labour Market test in order to issues a COS for me, or am I exempt from it since I am in the UK and already hold a Tier-2 for my old employer and have also completed a post grad in a UK institution in the recent past.

Any help would be appreciated. If you can send me suitable links that shows exemption , that would be great.

Your new employer has to go throught RLMT regardless of the fact that you are applying in the UK unless your job falls under shortage occupation.
