Advise needed for claiming UK experience points & accountant

Hi,

I have a two questions, please guide me

Q1: I claimed 40 points in earnings and 0 points in UK experience in my first and previous applications to get relevant 75 points. But this time I can claim only 35 earning points (due to lower salary) and as I worked in UK so I could get 5 points to satisfy 75 points. Can i do so or any point I am missing in that?

Q2: I am currently working on a full time temporary contracts (last six months) and paid on weekly basis with tax on PAYE basis. Previous six months I worked on full time on a fixed term contracts with PAYE tax. Do I need an accountant to prepare my accounts or not and my payslips, bank statements and tax letters will be enough to claim my earning points.

I will appreciate any advise from you.

A1: you can claim 5 points for UK experience, even if you never claimed before

A2: In case of Contractor check guidance which says accountant letter is enough.
I am assuming you are not self-employed (in which case you need balance sheet, dividends, salary paid to yourself as director etc.). As you are under PAYE my guess is you are self-employed.

I am confused by the response A2 so what you are concluding (I am a self employed or not?)

further is it employer letter or accountant letter?

I am paying tax as every body else in the company on PAYE (same tax bands) and my payslips are in my own name so If that is considered for Tier 1 purposes an employed or self employed? and do I need an accountant for any purpose?

by your description it sounds like you are NOT drawing salary from own company as director? but getting payslip/salary from employer or contractor?
If latter then no complications are there, just apply like any employed will do Or like you did last time
