Called them via the number provided on of the pages on this thread, and they said it's still pending?! Does that mean it hasn't been assigned to a caseworker?

When i called HomeOffice they told me that once we receive the acknowledgement letter means, the application has been assigned to a Case Worker and it is in progress.

I did receive a letter on 21st(ish) October requesting my original degree certificate. I did not send it initially because I did not have it then as I had just graduated but a call to them and they said my transcript was enough. I guess not. Don't know how much longer this will take

Hi Everyone,

I call HO today i spoke to a guy who ask me when did i put in an application, i said August and he said the decision can't be made until January to complete 6 mth.

my application is nearly 4 mth, is very annoying when you see all sept appl finished approval n couples of October starting getting approval too.

what can we do?

@tinuola..next time when you call selecet the >6months option and you will be given an update.

mind you some of the applications takes longer than others because of some 3rd party checks. I believe those who have received approvals are the more straight forward cases...no past conviction or complex work history (HMRC). All these adds to checks being carried out and again it boils down to luck....

I am in the same boat...so many people have received approvals and am still waiting...so the wait continues. I dont think I have helped to douce your feelings about the waiting game but at the end its just what we need to accept...easy to take the 906 but complex to make a decision....

Thanks for your advised, is just that it really boiling when u see some of approval pass through your application and our application sitting there receiving dust. what will be the outcome is only Allah knowns.
