i am a EU national living and working in the UK and would like to apply for citizenship. I came to the UK in 2004 to do my masters and have been here since with a more than 6 months gap in 2007. I started my PhD in October 2007 and was also self employed to support myself. I stopped being self employed in 2011 and started working for a company and am still working. What is the best way to prove residence requirements? from October 2007 to now i already have more than 7 years of continuous residence in the UK. I can show that i was a student from 2007 to 2014 (part time PhD), but | would need comprehensive sickness insurance (CSI). I have a European health insurance card issued in the UK and my question is that whether that be used as evidence of CSI?
