Not yet fielddrive. Still eagerly waiting.

Do you know whether the application is decided by application date or biometrics date ?

I would assume the application date but a delayed biometrics enrolment would have an inadvertent effect on application processing time, like in my case

May be I'm wrong but looking at the databases it seems the applications are dealt on the basis of dates rather than Biometric . only reason some applicants on the same day might get the result quickly might be
1. straight forward applications
2. Most important some Case workers SIT on applications to kill time or due to some advisors who sit on the applications doing the normal checks sit on applications and take time to send it to case workers .

( Main reason for advisors to sit on applications is that they are temporary workers employed by HO during peak times and when they have information that they have less applications coming the following month( in this case Aug -Sep were high but Oct and NOV there are few ... ) so to make sure their contract gets going they tend to do the check slowly to extend their contract .

I know this because I work for one of these organisations ;-) don't ask me which dept ;-)

tier1_PEO_applicant wrote:Dear All,

Just thought I'll put my details now that I've received the approval.

Application sent (ILR10): 13-08-2014
Acknowledgement received: 15-08-2014
Biometric invite received: 04-09-2014
Biometric recorded: 09-09-2014
Approval date: 15-11-2014
Docs Received: 18-11-2014
Awaiting BRP, which as always would be delivered in next 7 days.

I've updated the google spread sheet too.

I wish everyone good luck for their approval.

And a few words if no one feels offended " It is not where you are, what matters is what you do in the place you are" ...

Take it easy and do well.
Tier1_PEO_Applicant ( by the way, I've never gone for same application ever)

tier1_PEO_applicant wrote:Hi Fielddrive and everyone who's been helping out here.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for us, very kind.

I have been checking my Royal Mail tracking every evening, and so far no updates.

I hope all those who have applied around mid-Aug get positive replies by end of this week.

My time line is on shared drive, and case is straight forward.

2004 - First entry
5 years - Study BEng/MSc
2 years - PSW
1.5 years - Tier 1( applied early for extention)
2 year - Tier1 - extention( applied early for ILR, 1 year remaining on Tier1)

I don't have best of the knowledge, but I am more than willing to help if someone have any questions.

All the best to you all.

NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE PARTICULAR
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS IF I AM TELLING YOU ONLY

  i am really surprised to see that many people do not understand the meaning of HELP FROM OTHERS

ITS a very simple to ask someone to amend the data on the spreadsheet

the only other explatnation of this SPREADSHEET mess is that

SOMEONE MESSES IT INTENTIONALLY just to play with others feeling

Hello Arsal385,
i completely understand how you feel about the google drive being messed up. Many forum members are already very angry at who ever has done it. But hey there is no need to wish anybody bad luck at this time. Don't worry i have already contacted the moderators and i believe they will resolve it in due time.

Arsal you have been one of the people giving advice and I totally agree with your anger but ..let snot use god's name to curse anyone ...always takes god's name to ask for good things

To Err is human ....... Forgiveness is the most important thing every religion teaches .......

You gave advice to many people and just because you said one wrong word in anger even a stranger like me is giving you sort of lecture ...

we need to let new members know that playing with google drive is not a good Idea they can copy the same on to their excel sheet and play around if they wish to ....... its just that some people want to do their own analysis ;-) and that's things get messy

I have no shame in agreeing that I did play with google drive in july once the very first time I saw the data ;-) the realised what a mess I made ...I will take this initiative to post everyday about not changing anything on spreadsheet from today so new ones will know the importance ;-)
