Child benefit

Post by raomvj » Wed Nov 19, 2014 11:58 am

Hi all,

I have recently been granted ILR and I am now trying to claim child benefit for my daughter.

I filled an application form and it is mentioned in the application form that I need to send an evidence to prove my ILR and birth certificate of my daughter. Do I need to send original documents? Thanks in advance for responding to my query.

Thanks
Raomvj

Yes, you need to send originals.

Thanks CR001. Should I send my BRP card or letter from UKBA granting my ILR is enough?

Thanks

Does the letter say specifically that 'you have been granted ILR' or does it only say that your BRP will be sent within 10 days?
