Ex-employer letter for Tier2 ILR

I am going to apply for my ILR qualifying under 5 years on Tier-2. I have been with one other employer in all of 5 years. What letter should I get from ex-employer other than the usual saying: "so and so has worked for this long .." .

I have scoured the forum for questions similar to this. It's useful to know, especially now that the Home office requires confirmation about annual leave periods, SOC, salary, etc.
