How many days before submit tier 2 general extension application?Is it 28 days or 3 months?

You need to submit within 3 months after the CoS assigned date. If can be 28 days or 3 months or even earlier than the visa expiry date.

My SOC date is 01st December 2014 till 28th February 2015 and visa expiry date is 01st Feb. 2015. Can I apply on 15th Dec. 2014?
