I have recently applied for my wife Tier 2 dependent visa on 10th of Nov and we received documents back on 21st of Nov with leave to remain visa. we got married in Feb 2014 and applied for visa in Nov 2014. My wife is a Pakistani citizen therefore she had to apply online (https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/)
CATEGORY: TIER 2 (GENERAL) VISA
TYPE: GENERAL PARTNER, UP TO 3 YEARS
• Form is quite simple so it should not be a problem to fill
Part 1: PASSPORT AND TRAVEL INFORMATION
Part 2: PERSONAL DETAILS AND TRAVEL HISTORY
Part 3: FAMILY DETAILS (for exp Father and Mother details)
Part 4: MEDICAL TREATMENT - HAVE YOU EVER RECEIVED MEDICAL TREATMENT IN THE UK : NO
Part 5: MAINTENANCE – (MAIN APPLICANT BANK STATEMENTS AND PAYSLIPS)
Part 6: MAIN APPLICANT (ABOUT THE MAIN APPLICANT) (Husband details)
Part 7: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- This is what She wrote:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Ms --- w/o ----, am submitting the PBS Tier 2 dependent visa application
form along with various documents to seek visa to join my husband in UK. I got married with ------ on the DD/MM/YYY at (------Place). Please find the below documents enclosed.

I confirm that the property is for the exclusive use of (your name) and his dependant

I declare that, I will take complete responsibility to support my wife during her travel and stay in UK. I also take the responsibility to provide her accommodation and fulfil all of her expenses which include travel, subsistence, leisure and any other circumstantial needs.
In support of my wife’s visa application, I have sent all the necessary documents which are attached with her covering letter. I respectfully request you to grant my spouse a dependent visa.
