Surrinder Singh Self-Emplyment Query

Post by Cameron326 » Sat Nov 22, 2014 11:24 am

Hi. Don't know if this is the right place place to post so apologies of not. We are moving to Ireland shortly. As the EU citizen, I was planning on being self-employed in order to meet the "being economically active" requirement.

However, my client(s) are based in China (where I used to work). Specifically, I provide tuition via Skype.
Therefore my taxable income will not be from clients based in Ireland/EU.

Would this be a problem, or is it okay as long as my self-employment is registered for tax purposes in Ireland?
Many thanks.
