spouse visa for wife and visa for 3 kids from back country

One of my friend is british citizen and he wants to apply for his wife with three kids from Pakistan.

He got couple of questions:

1 - how much earning he needs to show?

2 - what is the maintenance funds requirement, how much he needs to put and for how long for wife and 3 kids?

Can you please answer these question, it would be a great help.

Are the children British? Until you're able to answer this no one can confirm what his earnings have to be. If he meets the minimum annual income he doesn't need savings, which I assume you mean when you mention 'funds'.

No, all children born in pakistan they are 4 months, 2 years and 3 years old, they go pakistani passports, never come to Uk, but my friend been living in Uk for more than 10 years, he is british citizen.
Now, he is planning to apply visa for his wife as spouse visa and children visa as well.

What does he need to do with regards to

He became british citizen after the birth of his first son, then he had daughter and boy while he was british.

The two child are exempted from financial rule. They can apply for british passport as the father has british citizenship at the time of their birth. The wife and first child will have to apply for visa with a requirement of 22,400 . Hope this will help you.

If only two children have British nationality he will have to be earning at least £22,400 per year or have substantial savings over £16,000 to make up the shortfall. Until we know how much he's earning it won't be possible to calculate the amount of savings required.

And there is no requirement for showing saving in bank as long as sponsor is earning 22,400 and has proper accomdation for family.
