The following is ESSENTIAL:
1)Personal Details: Full Name, Address & NI Number
2)Date of employment letter; 3)Position held within company; 4)Type of employment i.e. permanent/temporary; 5)Full time/Part time; 6)Date employment commenced; 7)Gross ANNUAL salary (and the date from which the salary has been paid)

May need to also state that you are able to work overtime if available (only if you are relying on overtime to meet income threshold)

If you just meet the income threshold it would also be ideal to get the employer to state your earnings over the period of time you are relying upon

i.e. I can confirm that Mr xxxxxx total GROSS salary/ earnings over the last 6 months (MAKE SURE DATES ARE RELIED UPON ARE STATED HERE) are £xxxx.xx

Get your employer to state points 1-7. Is there a reason why you are supplying 7 payslips instead of 6? I would advise you to submit 6 payslips as it becomes much easier and less confusing for the ECO to calculate your salary (times by 2, instead of dividing by 7 and then time by 12) and to undertand what category you are applying with.

Also ask your employer to state that;"MR XXX has earned the GROSS amount of £xxxx.xx in the last 6 months (or 7 in your case) from May 2014 (or April in your case) to October 2014.

Am i correct in saying this i will be putting 7692 in category A salaried employment and the 20000.00 dividends in cateogry F

Thanks
If you are a company director of your own ltd company, then you dont apply under cat A. You just apply under Cat F only.

Have you been paying your self a salary every month? under RTI?

Ask your accountant if he has done an accountants letter for any of his other clients before? if not then make sure he does things properly as if hasnt dealt with this sort of thing before then you double check if everything he gives you if acceptable.

With my accountant i had to get things corrected at least 3 times before he got things right.

The ECO will pick the lowest payslip out of the 6 months payslips you provide and times that by 12 to get your annual salary. So whatever the shortfall is from £18.6k you need to times it by 2.5 and then add on £16000, this will be the amount you need to hold in your account for a minimum of 6 months without it falling below this amount. If you know what the GROSS amount on the lowest payslip is then I can help you work it out if your become stuck.

Are you actually salaried or paid hourly?

If salaried and £750 is your lowest payslip from the ones you will be submitting then the calculation is as follows:

750*12 = £9000 from employment

£18600-9000 = £9600 shortfall

£9600*2.5 = £24000

£24,000 + £16000 = £40,000 cash savings required over a minimum of 6 months period (you have £45k over a year)

For cash savings you will need to explain where the cash came from. i.e. if from parents or family you need a letter from whoever has given basically stating it is a gift and not a loan etc. Also show bank statement of where the money has been transferred from i.e. show parents bank statement for the month when the money was transferred and this should correspond to your own bank statement. Highlight the cash amount on the bank statements.

Explain on a letter how you meet the income threshold with salary and cash savings as done above and I think you will fine :)

Employment letter will need state your GROSS ANNUAL SALARY (normally written in your contract) but also get the employer to state your total earnings from the dates you are relying upon i.e. previous 6 months to application

Salam

I applied on 8 September 2014 from Lahore and awaiting a decision on my spouse visa.

On the 2 status requests I have received the following messages and would like someone to explain what this could could mean please.

1. 2 weeks ago I received - "...found that your application is currently in progress." What do they mean by this? What stages could have this have potentially passed so far?

2. Today I recieved - "Please provide us below information so we can escalate your case to concern
department. You will be contacted with an update soon." I have submitted the details that they have requested. What am I expecting to receive? Does it mean anything..?

Thank you.

Roger!
with these figures u look fine as for as financial requirement is concerned. but if your job contract is temporary, its better to send paylips and bank statements for more than 6 months.

AOA,
I've applied for spouse visa from Lahore Pakistan, my application is currently being assessed by ECO. They are asking for additional documents, of which one is "housing report". Me and my husband has no idea of it, can somebody tell me what is it?

Walikum assalam, its basically a letter issued by a third party (i.e council, estate agents or there are companies who charge to do this) to confirm that your house is Not Overcrowded, your house meets all the housing act regulations and is a safe play for your spouse to come and live.

Letter includes, number of rooms and sizes, number of people residence etc.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all
