FAMILY MEMEBER OF EU CITIZEN

Hi dear,s

5 years ago i got my Portuguese residence card FAMILY MEMBER OF EU CITIZEN through my father.
within few days i will receive permanent residence card of FAMILY MEMBER OF EU CITIZEN
Few days ago when i went to immigration office for applying LONG TERM EU RESIDENT CARD they told me that i can get that LONG TERM RESIDENT CARD i just can get PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD OF FAMILY MEMBER OF EU CITIZEN.
i just want to know that on that card can i work in any other EU country on my own.if yes than will i have to change that card or on that card can i work.if no than is there any way to work in any other EU country.
i am pakistani national and i came in portugal direct and received that card

No, unless upgrading your permanent residence card into Portuguese passport.
