Both have pretty straight fwd case- not much absence, No CCJ, No gaps etc. My wife had a rejection in 2009 on student visa but we won on appeal. We both have seperate files with HO, no dependant as thats how it has been from Day 1.

I forgot to mention, and if it helps, my wife received acknowledgement letter on 06/09/14.

I also have a ques - Does the approval letter comes as recorded signed for or like normal mail? As I understand that decision letter arrives before the docs?

Hello rashenikki,
This is new to me. I would advise you to call HO and quote your reference number on your acknowledgement letter to whoever will speak with you and explain your situation to him/her. I would also probably put a letter through the post to HO address where you initially posted your BRP replacement application and also explain your concerns to them in the letter.Hope it works out ok for you. Good luck.

Completely yes bro, am sitting and expecting it anytime soon.Although HO has been very sluggish in making decisions these days. But hey bro am very kool with it.Am not travelling or going anywhere outside the UK at the moment. So let them take all their time. Although I feel for other forum members who are eagerly anticipating for results.

Hello meghangkit,
I think you should send your extra documents to the address on your acknowledgement letter. If I were you I will attach a photo copy of my acknowledgement letter as well.

Thanks Spatacus,
just called the Durham office, they told me that the form was probably formerly called that CRA(sett); that most of the letters sent is a cut and paste job and i shouldn't worry about it.

Hello TheJuryMustDie,
Probably they were carrying out maintenance when you tried to access it. I have experienced it before. I guess it's not amajor issue.Though recently I noticed that when you post a comment and click submit it doesn't take you back to the forum link anymore unless you refresh the page. Hence some people are posting same comments couple of timea or even more in some instance. But I can live with that buddy. It doesn't cost me anything to refresh my page after posting a comment. Enjoy.
