sorry for using this on reply.
Hello salle45,
You are ok. SET (LR) requirements does not require you to proof gaps in your own country passport renewal. They worry about your gaps in your visa renwals if you have any.As far as I know the requirements for SET LR are:
1) Photocopy of all your passports (bio pages and stamped pages if have travelled)
2)All Original passports bearing your visas for the period of 10 years
3) Original life in the UK test certificate
4) Original English Language certificate (UK BSc/MSc degree certificate will be accepted)
5) Passport photos
6) Correctly filled SET (LR) application form (strongly advised to always check for the latest version of the form before submission)
7) Any existing BRP should also be included.
Hope I have not missed out on any required documents.
Thats all you need bro. You do not need to submit any bank statements etc.

I hope this is the right topic to ask my question.
I intend to apply for my 10 years long resident SET(LR) application ,but I have a 6 day gap between a visa application and also another gap of 31 days between my 2 passports. I just want to make sure that these don't break my 10 years long residency.

I also have 2 convictions 1.)driving with the wrong license in 2006( Went to court and fined)
2.) No car insurance in 2008( out of court fine and 6 points on license).

Visa dates are as follows:-
Student Visa 17/09/14 to 31/10/03 Issued at arrival
UK Ancestry visa 05/12/03 to 02/12/07 Application raised 06/11/03 according to SAR.
UK Ancestry visa 13/11/07 to 12/11/12 In Time Application.
10 Year Long Residence 2 Year leave to remain 24/01/14 to 24/01/16 In Time App. & BRP issued.

Is there anything I should worry about. Thanks

congrats to everyone who's received their ILRs...

i have a weird feeling my application timeline will become an example of how long it can take to decide.. i really dont want that.

anyway August '14 is now the busiest month ever recorded on the tracker... 64 people and only 40% decided so far as we approach the end of the month

Hello Arsal385,
Point of correction mate, i did not miss it, as this is not a requirement to be met. It is the application fee and this is clearly stated on page 4 (section-1) in the form.

#whatisbetterthanfreedom? How do you feel now? Is there any significant difference from before you were granted ILR and now?

approvals date can span as wide as three weeks for applications submitted on the same date (based on info from the tracker of august approvals). keep a close eye for the next three weeks, particularly for the applications made around 20s August. wish all august applicants will hear good news before xmas.

Hi

I am planning to apply for ILR on the basis of Long Residence during Jan15. No issues with timing, gap etc except the below,

I have used deception to obtain my PSW in 2008 (I know that I committed an offence and I am guilty for what I have done because of some worse situation at that time).

I know personally that HO has documents to prove my deception (don't ask how I know it) and I thought they would refuse my tier 1 application in 2010 but they didn't reject either the initial application or the extension.I am a qualified professional and earning over £50k and I think that is what saved me.

Can they actually refuse my Indefinite application based on previous deception(5years ago)?

what are my options if they pick up this PSW deception issue in my ILR application?

Any reference provided will be helpful. Seniors and moderators please help. Are there any precedent?

Hi Longresidence12,
its a shame that you used deception in obtaining your extensions in the UK. Just hope that HO won't find out. But remember that at anytime they found out...wether you have become a British Citizen or not they will stripe you off any type of visa or citizenship you have and you may face imprisonment and deportation afterwards.
However, i will advise you to pray hard that HO won't find out. There is no two ways about it once it is discovered.
I wish you well and good luck.
