Cat D .. Financial Requirement Missing from App form

Dear All,

While completing FLR (M) version 11/14, We are relying on Cash Savings to meet financial requirements but their is no option for Cat D on page 28/29 of application form.

As we are only relying on cash saving to meet financial requirements and have maintain enough balance to meet £18,600 requirements but i am confused which cat to select as their is nothing mention about cat D.

On page 35 .... they have option 7.3E Cash Saving which is absolutely fine and i have all relevant information to complete that section but look like their is error in application form.

If anyone else experienced the same please share you thoughts what shall i do or any senior please advice.

Hvae you got a savings of 62,500 in you account, and have had this for a period of 6 months or more.

hi Obie ..... yes i do have saving of £70,000 and have held this money for more than 6 months, but i cant find Cat D in application form is there error in the form or I am doing something wrong?

gi Rayking ..... i have £70,000 and held this for 6 months in joint bank account .......

70,000 -16000 = 54000 / 2.5 = £21600 that is what i am replying on to apply for my wife visa but i cant find option Cat D in application form ?

Are you filling the right form? It's there,vaf4 appendix 2 form?should be the last on the financial section, 3.3 I think.
You should be filling this by hand not online.

You said you've held it in joint account, I reckon with your spouse right?
Oh sorry,you're applying from within the UK, you should be filling 7.3E,but I think they muddled it up there.

Yes money was held in joint account with my wife for the period of 6 months and yes applying from inside UK.

please advice if their is a mistake in form or i am doing something wrong.

It really does appear that you can only fill in 73E. In two years time I will be filling in this form and applying under the same category! Please update us when you have had your appointment. Maybe a covering letter to explain why you could fill in anything before 73E?

You don't have to worry about this,with same day appointment that can easily be sorted out,they will just tell you what to do there, that's the beauty of same day appointment.
I don't think you're doing anything wrong,checked the form as well.
