To the best of my knowledge there is none..it should not be complicated....but when so many people around are getting approvals it feels like may be my application have been put through some random different kinds checks that people who received their approval did not have to undergo and CW just decided that mine should go through that... :(..god only knows what is happening..

probably nothing for me this year... :(

@london_2014
you are right it should'nt be..because if they have to screen all applications at ILR stage then the naturalisation process should even be easier, but this is the HO we are talking about mate....nothing is ever that easy.

I cant seem to comprehend the 6months thing, seriously I cant. I just hope my application is not gathering dust somewhere, forgotten especially when you read other people's post and see that they have been waiting since february with no update. its just crazy.

But I want to be optimistic that mine wouldnt be in such a situation. fingers crossed and hope for the best..thats all we are left with.

hi.
I am an October's applicant and they contacted me for more info. Did you send pre paid envelope? Because I did and they sent my papers back with that
if you are worried call them as you have a reference which is on the acknowledge letter.
My worry is despite I sent the required papers by next day delivery they have put me back to the end of queue
Good luck!

The NCS didn't required me to do it, I don't mind doing it though.another thing is that I bring so much evidence / certificates and they only photo copy my passport 2 of it ,LIUK and ESOL B1 and the latest biometric card. And they ask me if I was physically /legally present in the UK on September 11,2009,?no more than 450 days outside UK in the last 5 years ?, and no more than 90 days in the last 12 Months? No convictions? And that's it..lessthan 10 minutes I'm done..

I am still checking this timeline 3 to 4 times everyday but this is getting slower and slower in approvals :( in this week I think nobody received any approval so far I was checking other threads people those applied in end of oct also got their approvals, it's look like my case went in long waiting list, some guys also waiting from May 2014 and still waiting. At this point I am thinking my application is also stuck and will take longer may be over 6 months ;(

@ legit2011
I know my friend it's all about wait, which is not an easy task, wait is the most difficult task in this world nobody wants to do it, anyways it's has to come and it will come one day, it's good applied through the NCS so we can travel anywhere we want so Atleast we are not bound to sit at one place we got every thing with us so now think we did not apply for anything :P :D lol

A strange fact that majority of the applications submitted on 10/09 or 11/09 are still outstanding...

Good Morning Friends

I have recently asked the Home Office to return my original documents back to me, as I needed it, I filled an online application to request the return of documents, and I received the documents within two days, I applied on Monday, and received on Wednesday, very quickly, I hope this will be the approval.

by luck I met the postman while going out my apartment, it was middle sized yellow envelope, my anxiety was on the moon, I opened a big yellow envelope which contains all my documents plus a home office letter attached, the irony was, a strange statement written on the letter which they attached the document to which they stated like this "Applications are considered broadly in order of receipt" I could not believe it, so if they consider applications in order they receive, why are we getting many October approvals?

Why those of you who applied 11th of September did not get any response yet? its very mind boggling and beyond imagination seeing this, its either that those who have depicted here that they got their approvals are lying, or the Home Office is giving contradiction and lie statement and by law misleading us, which is really very serious misconduct, or I did not get how what does this statement means.

I decided to write to them, and I have sent them an email, requesting the Home Office to clarify what they meant for this statement, I will update you guys as soon as I got a response from them, but what do you think guys?
