Hi,
I have recently got a work permit from an India company who is also in UK, but they are giving me Tier-2 ICT visa, the company is paying for my visa fees and flight tickets, I would have to search jobs after landing to UK.

The company would pay me a fixed salary of 2500 GBP from day 1.

I would like to know the disadvantages of ICT visa ?

Sorry, this raises an alarm for fraud in my ears. I may be wrong though. Please check what you are getting into. And what do you mean they will start paying you £2500 from day 1? Why day 1? Who does that??? I suggest you check very thoroughly what you are getting into. And Tier 2 ICT is intra company transfer visa anyway. Just means its for companies based in home country who want to send their employees abroad.
