Where to base my expectations

Post by aganty » Sat Nov 29, 2014 6:44 pm

I was recently given a 3 years stamp 4 leave to remain on the basics of parentage to an irish born citizen child but have been married to an Eu national for almost 2 years now.. Will it be same as the stamp 4 Eufam as we still together or just ordinary stamp 4?
As am going in for the GNIB when my passport comes out from renewal..
Answers please

Sure it took about 7 weeks in general
From date of application

Besides what I wanted to know is that I think I should be getting eufam stamp as my wife is an Eu national and we been married for 2 year now.

Hi did mean 7 weeks or 7 months for zambrano ?
Normally it takes more then 7 months!

What stamp are you now..?
Stamp 4 eufam it's very complicated . If your wife loose job you will loose your stamp. Your have to work 5 years to your PR.

But zambrano stamp 4 you do not need any thing just need to bring your child to extend stamp.

I m thinking to aply for zambrano but I can't until stamp 4 eufam is expired

Nah lately it usually takes 2 to 6 months max if gat everything in at the point of the application..
Well I went into GNIB office today for enquiries they said the ground of which I was granted don't means am not an eufam so I be getting the eufam stamp as far as come with our marriage certificate. But at the time of renewal will still be the basics of bringing my child n wife along and if my wife don't come with me then they will only give me normal stamp 4..
