Thank you. The problem was that the application form was photocopy accept the page 15 where my picture glued, it was a really stupid mistake. I risked it and did nothing about it. I wrote them a letter they would get confused. I would not recommend what I have done and it was purely my choice. I don't know their address and but I guess the address in the application form should be enough.
Do you have similar situation?
Thanks Sammy for your response. So, if I understand correctly you did NOT write any letter and took the risk, which worked out in favour, which is great.
My situation is that I mentioned (on page 15) that I am including some documents (P45) for last year 2013-14, when I was employed and getting paid by PAYE and that for this year (2014-15) I am self-employed and I can't do self-assessment as the financial year has not ended (I did provide proof of my UTR number and that I paid my Class II NIC etc.). So, I wanted to include P45 for last year, but the caseworker at NCS didn't allow me to do so, saying that they (Home Office) will have access to all this information anyway (Which is true).
Now, I have a choice to make. Either
(a) Send P45 for last year and a recent CRB done (as I am self-employed) to Home Office stating my case number etc. (which I now have as I received the acknowledgement letter)?
(b) Do nothing till asked to?
What would you suggest? My dilemma:
If I follow (a) I will be proactive and hopefully the document will reach in time before they start assessing my application and there won't be any delays, but I risk confusing them or being sent back in the queue
If I follow (b) - I will be following being safe (not to confuse them) and wait till they ask me to send these documents. Or not - assuming they get those documents anyway from HMRC considering they have my NIC number etc.
Looking forward to hearing from you and as well from others.
Thanks,
K
