As long a they have taken the payment, I wouldn't worry about it - it means that the whole process has started.

Hi.
I am a EEA citizen and they had already started working on my case as thry asked more papers. I do not think it would take longer than usual.
If I were you I would call HO to ask whats happening!

I think they will just tell you that your application is under consideration. But at least you would be sure it is with thrm. Or they dont ask more papers or approval is done just lost in post, etc.

The home office call centre options say if it has passed more than 6 months,…so i disconnected and wait time is 8 minutes..

Its fine. Yes, I know it says that one but still go to option 121
I followed the machine then the guy said to go back and choose that option.
Its crazy then why the machine says different

talking with the call centre lady and she told me that its processed and i can get the decision any time from now till 6 months, she told that she is not allowed to tell more than this.

Don't worry mate you will get the decision soon as the lady with whom i had talked was nice lady but didn't told much but she just told that its processed and you can get the decision any time from now till 6 months… i don't know what to understand from her. she told she is not allowed to tell more than this.

I just heard that for a partner of a British citizen needs 5 years now not only 3. Has anyone heard this too?

That rule is for ILR not for citizenship. Although it will effect the time for citizenship application too but if someone already has ILR, they can still apply after 3 years.

Date of receipt by UKBA: 27/10/14
Date of acknowledgment: waiting
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 19/11/2014 debit, 21/11/2014 cleared
Date approval received: 03/12/2014 (letter date 27/11/2014)

Wow, my card payment was so slow, below average time of 3 weeks.
But my application was processed very quickly. I had the letter today dated 27/11/2014.
The processing days were only just over 1 week???... amazing

I have been on maternity leave since 1 March 2014 as I gave birth to my 2nd boy. I forgot to send my maternity paper so they asked what I have been doing since March
Plus as I sent my application on 15th October. They received it on 16th and they noticed that on 16th Oct 2009 I was not in Uk as I was abroad so they asked me to redate and resign the form which I did by 21/11/2014

I don't know if the fact that I'm only 19 years old changes anything with my application but seeing everybody already get their approval is making me very anxious

Unfortunately they say this when they have not touched the application too. So please do not raise your hope up as it means nothing. Sorry!
