You should not have any problems.

Recently travelled back to Uk from Singapore landing in UK on 4th october.
Visa was expiring 26th November.

We were ushered in without ANY questions asked and just told my the official that our visa was running out soon. We said yes, we are in the process of making an extension application.

As long as you have a valid visa, you shouldn't face any issues.
